Aplication Administrator

Job tasks:

• Planning, support and cooperation in the setup and operation of web-based application servers on Linux (Redhat) environments;

• Coordination of customer orders (internal/external);

• Continuous updating of operating documentation;

• Error analysis and correction independently or in cooperation with specialist groups;

• Processing of service requests and orders (incident/problem/change/request fulfilment/release management);

• Further development of customer systems taking into account the interfaces in the course of the existing SLA;

• Coordination of releases or participation in complex projects;

• Process optimization and processing of system adjustments (change management);

• 24/7 on-call service in case of need;

• Direct customer coordination.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Linux (Redhat);

• Mastery of script languages Bash, Perl and JavaScript; 

• Knowledge of monitoring systems (BSM/Splunk/Dynatrace);

• Windows operating systems;

• Network technologies (TCP/IP, router, switch);

• Firewall and load balancing systems (Netscaler);

• Knowledge of web applications based on Java EE technologies;

• Good knowledge of English;

• Knowledge of German is advantageous;

• Enjoyment of teamwork and high degree of independence;

• Analytical thinking.
