Frontend developer

Our client is at the moment developing Automated Biometrics Identification System. 

Your tasks

• Technical design and development of user interfaces of our biometric SW products
• Focus on implementation of front-end layer of web applications 
• Design of new functionalities and prototypes of UI and UI components, enhancement of usability comfort
• Close cooperation with back-end developer
• Creation and maintenance of reusable UI components, templates, and libraries
• Responsibility for future-proof design and high quality of resulting work
• Keeping pace with new technologies in front-end area of expertise at all times

• Experience with front-end development of modern applications in an agile environment
• Sense of good design and aesthetics with focus on responsive design on various devices (also mobile devices)
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Knowledge of modern front-end basic building blocks:
• JavaScript frameworks – ReactJS, styled-components, Jest is an advantage, CSS platforms - SASS / LESS
• Tools like Yarn, WebPack, Gulp
• Experience with Git and CI/CD, authentication concepts, and front-end security concepts
• Familiarity with communication protocols like REST
• At least basic familiarity with databases, SQL, and GraphQL protocol (apollo/relay is an advantage)
• Ability to create new designs of user interfaces with focus on functionality and user experience
• Experience with testing (Jest) and debugging of front-end applications running in a web browser and front-end server
• Advantage is knowledge of languages/technologies like Kotlin, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, express.js
• A sense of detail and a responsible approach to work
• Friendly attitude and willingness to share knowledge and help others
