As a contact person, you process service inquiries from our customers, such as Continental, MAN, etc. and support IT service management in all technical operational issues and, if necessary, also work very closely with developers. You attach particular importance to customer satisfaction within the framework of the agreed service level agreement. You are also responsible for incident management and monitor our managed services with our monitoring / reporting tools. You mainly administer Linux systems and ensure the system and network operation in the data center and the cloud. Last but not least, you will create and maintain operational documentation for the respective applications.
Completed training as IT specialist system integration or a comparable qualification
Relevant experience in the area of system administration of Linux systems
Web and application server know-how (httpd, Tomcat, Wildfly, JVM configuration, etc.)
Scripting in Bash, Python, Shell
Good network knowledge Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Careful and structured way of working as well as the ability to work independently, proactive problem analysis
Team and communication skills Good written and spoken German and English
