Job Description
As a Database Developer (m/f/d), you will work in Vienna, very closely with the database team of eight experienced colleagues in our homogenous (SQL Server 2016) database environment which forms the backbone of our products and day-to-day business operations.

Salary: Up to 3750€ - 4000€ brutto

Location: Bratislava (1xweek in the office, if far away, once in 2 weeks)

As a Database Developer your tasks will be:
- Query tuning and optimization
- Create new or improve existing functionalities
- Review, test and deploy code to various non-production environments
- Keep code base across multiple data centers in sync
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from other departments
- Evaluate and introduce new development methods and tools that simplify our day-to-day work
Your Profile
- 2 years of experience in development using MSSQL server technology
- Understanding of high-volume data tables and highly concurrent transactions
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Very good knowledge of TSQL with ability to write complex queries
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Willingness to learn and improve your skills
- Very good command of both spoken and written English
- Beneficial skills/knowledge:
- Issues tracking software, version control systems, CI/CD tools
- Database design and architecture
- Database replication
- Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler or other troubleshooting tools
- SQL Server CLR and .NET Framework
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming language (C#)
